hello and welcome.
My name is Tay Daniels and I am so excited to teach you today how to own your own energy.
This is going to change the way that you forever see yourself.
So see your business, make decisions and hit your goals from here on out.
And in today's session, this will probably be one of the biggest, mind blowing breakthroughs that
you've ever had.
Because this work changed my entire life. This work.
I had been in business by this time, years, years and years.
I'd done the mindset work, I had been a certified life coach.
I had done so much inner work and considered myself self aware until I did the work that I'm going
to show you today.
I am the founder of Breadwinner Energy and I created my company in 2016 while I was seven
months pregnant.
I had wrecked credit, a hundred dollars to my name, no degree and decided I was going to start a
business because I wanted to change my entire life from the time I was really, really young.
I'm talking like five, six, seven years old, I would tell the people in my neighborhood and go around
and put on dance performances for them that one day I was going to be rich and famous.
Now mind you, I grew trailer with my single mom and I'm sure my neighbors thought I was
absolutely delusional and insane.
But I carried that fire with me throughout my entire life.
And so when I was 23 and seven months pregnant, I said I'm going to quit my job and I'm going to
start a business.
I had no business starting a business and everyone around me thought I was absolutely insane.
Which looking back, that was pretty crazy to just completely quit my business with, you know, no
experience on a whim to start a business nonetheless.
And then from that business of being a virtual assistant, I grew it into an OBM business, service
based business, and then eventually into an agency.
And then I became a coach.
And now 10 years later, I have been in business.
I've made seven figures multi, seven figures collectively.
I've had six figure multi six figure years, six figure launches.
And I have created success for myself in those years.
But it has not been easy because I did not have the foundations required for success mentally,
physically, emotionally or financially.
And so through my journey there have been lots of up and ups and downs.
But I will say that this work has absolutely changed the way that I see myself, my business, the
way that I operate my business, the way that I make decisions, and I now teach this work to other
women because I am a firm believer that your energy and not just your Mind, mindset.
But your shadows are going to be what gets you results or doesn't get your results.
And today I'm going to create a clear picture for you what is happening in your world, in your
business, and what is holding you back from hitting your goals, what the actual secret sauce is, to
hitting all your goals, to making the money, to having the impact, to having the freedom that you
want.
I'm going to show you exactly what that looks like.
Through my years of entrepreneurship, I discovered that one of my biggest shadows or blocks has
been self sabotage.
And no matter how self aware you are or how much mindset work you've done, the truth is, if you
don't actually change your shadows, if you don't actually work through the way that you react to
your shadows, you're going to start creating the same results over and over again.
So after I had been coaching for, it had been about five years and I'd coached hundreds of women,
I was seeing clearly how there was always a group of women who got a lot of results.
So we had women like six multi six figures going through my container.
Then we would have women who come to the calls and get the coaching, but they would make like
no money.
And then we would have a group in the middle who would come to the calls and get the coaching
and implement the coaching and they would get some results, but they wouldn't hit the six and
multi six figures and they wouldn't have zero dollars.
And so through the exact same curriculum and the exact same coaching for years, we're seeing
these three groups.
And so I would start to compare, you know, why are some women hitting these results or hitting
them really fast?
Like, what is it about them that has, you know, that's creating these results where these women
are showing up and getting the coaching and implementing said coaching that we're giving, but
they're not getting results.
So as I'm comparing, I'm realizing the energetic differences between the women who are getting
the bigger results, the women who are getting some results, and the women who are getting no
results.
And your energy and the way that you show up in the way that you carry yourself and the way that
you make decisions and operate your business has everything to do with the results you do or
don't get.
And so when I last year in early 2024, I came off my first ever six figure launch.
And after that six figure launch, about a month and a half later, I burned down my entire business.
And I had gone through my biggest rebirth of myself.
I went through a legal Battle to protect my trademark.
And that took forever.
And it's very expensive.
And through this I had to really strip back all the pieces of me to do this inner work, to become the
version of me that creates my own success.
And not only did this create my entire new business of like, this is what I meant to do, this is like
the work I meant to do in the world, plus what I've been doing.
But in this way, this is the way that I meant to do.
Also showed me all the pieces that I needed to embody to teach it to other people.
I had to go through this process myself to be able to not only own my own energy and walk the
walk, but then to be able to teach it to you.
And this is what I want to teach you today.
This is what I teach in my world.
This is the work that I teach.
And this I'm telling you right now, if you do nothing else in your business, if you want money, if you
want to make impact and you want freedom, this work right here is non negotiable.
This is the work though that so many people skip.
And the reason that people skip this work, number one, is because you've been told it's your
mindset, it's your mindset, it's your mindset or it's your strategy, or it's both, right? And so what do
you do? You do the mindset work.
You're extremely self aware of your mind and your limiting beliefs and sometimes people even
become so obsessed with them that their entire focus is on mindset and personal development and
you know, manifesting it and thinking about it and journaling and affirmations.
But then it doesn't happen.
You like want it to happen.
You believe that it could happen a little bit, maybe even have a little doubt.
But you're like, I really, really want it.
But years and years go on and you're still getting pretty much the same results.
The other thing is that you maybe think you're missing strategies.
You're always chasing, what is the strategy, what is the next thing, what is the next thing, what is
the next social platform, the next algorith, next marketing thing.
And you're always chasing these strategies.
And so you're trying to put together like, I really, really want it with these strategies.
And then in between those two things you kind of like have this blob of like, I'm not exactly sure
how this all works, how my business is like a complete system.
Maybe you assign a couple clients here, you make a little bit of money here, but it doesn't feel
consistent. Right? This was mean.
So before I went from virtual assistant, agency service provider into coach, I was working 40 to 60
hour weeks and I was like, this is the exact thing I wanted to get away from to be in business.
Like I, I'm not afraid of work, I love work.
But I really wanted freedom and I really wanted to make an impact and make income.
But I also wanted the freedom.
And so I had to completely change the way that I was doing business.
And it wasn't just mindset or strategy.
And I'm going to take you what that through that, what that is today.
So let's first start with every business owner, what you secretly crave.
If I had to guess, your top three desires, they're going to be some kind of income and making some
kind of impact and having some kind of freedom.
Those are like the top three that every single person I know once.
And then from there we obviously break it down to like what that looks like, right?
But today for this training, that's what we're going to focus on is income, impact and freedom.
And obviously you want to get really specific with what those desires are.
So let me blow up my screen here so you can see this a bit better.
So if we were to look at, okay, how much money do you want to make, right?
10k months, 20k months, 50k months, 6 figures, 7 figure years?
How much money do you actually want to make?
How much money do you want to make in a year, three years, five years?
The duration of your business?
Now some people are like, I know exactly how much money I want to make and this is the number
and here's why.
And then other people are like, I don't know, I just kind of want to get by.
I'm not really sure, it doesn't really matter, right?
Or they just guess and throw out a number based on what is popular.
I would highly suggest that you decide a number that actually means something to you and or is
strategic.
So what this could look like is you calculate right now your current expenses, business expenses,
life expenses, like maybe the life you want to live, the home you want to live in, the location you
want to live in, the debt you want to pay off, like how much money do you need to cover your bills,
right?
So let's say you need like 5k a month, then I would double that number, which would be 10k a
month.
That gives you breathing room for savings, investments.
If something were to break, you have extra money and then I would take that number and double
it.
So Then we would be at 20k months.
So this would be like in the most immediate time, you need to be making 5k months if you're not
already.
That would be your first goal.
The second goal would be 10k months and then the third would be 20k months.
And then obviously you would times those numbers by 12 to get how much money you're going to
make, you know, yearly.
So what would be like 120?
I'm not good at math, so I'm going to use my calculator to, let's see, 20k months, 240k.
So this would now be your income goal.
Okay, then the second thing we want to talk about is impact.
How much impact do you want to make?
Do you want to speak on stages?
Do you want to write a book?
Do you want to sign a hundred clients?
How much impact do you want to make?
And we'll get to how we like.
Strategically plan this in just a minute, but stick with me here.
And then the third is calendar space, creative flow, time off, freedom.
So when I first started my business, my first goal was Fridays off, then it was Friday through
Sunday off, then it was no nights, right?
And then it was no calls every other week.
So right now my calendar has on the first week and the third week of the month I do my coaching
calls.
And the second and the fourth week of the month, I keep those completely open.
So if I want to host a live event, I can do it.
If I want to be on someone's podcast, I can do it.
If I want to do nothing and have zero calls on my calendar, that is what I will do. I'm a mom.
I'm a full time mom.
I have two kids at home with me full time since literally the time I started my business, right?
Cause I was seven months pregnant and then I was a single mom at one point and then remarried
and then now I have a second child.
And so I'm a full time mom of two at home.
Therefore my schedule has to match being a full time mom for the most part.
Okay, now let's table that.
Let's table what you just wrote down as your three, your top goals, the things you want to achieve
in your business.
And let's just table that for a minute.
And let's now go to the top three shadows that I see in most business owners.
Maybe you're asking what is a shadow?
Every single person has a shadow self. Okay?
And it's the side of you that's usually suppressed or hidden or is in the shadows that we Try to
avoid escape, right?
It's that like nagging, like thing that you do, right?
So this could be like fear of success, fear of failure.
And you could call these like a wound if you want to, but I call them shadows.
It could be that you're being the good girl, you're being the over giver, the people pleaser or the
perfectionist, right?
There's a million shadows that someone can have and usually you have multiple and no, you
cannot ever get rid of them. Right?
What happens is we create awareness.
We create awareness of how that shadow is impacting our life, business, relationships, money, etc.
And then we become aware of that cycle.
This is what we're doing today.
And then we can decide how we react to said cycle.
Okay, that's what we start with.
After that though, after you've mastered understanding, why do I have the shadow?
Where has it come from?
What is the story?
How am I reacting to the shadow and how do I become less reactive to said shadow? Right?
New level, new devil.
So you start scaling your business, you start making more money, you start hiring team, there's
more visibility.
Like there will then be these other shadows that start to come up or the same shadows, but they
come up in a different way because now you're scaling so you've leveled up, right?
So there will be a new shadow that appears or old shadows that appear.
And then that will be where you have the cycle again.
You come back to this work, you keep doing it.
It's important that we do this though, because it's going to show you exactly where, what you want,
the life you want, the desires you have versus your reality.
You're going to see where that gap is and what actually needs cleaned up to have it.
Okay, So I just wrote down the top three shadows that I've seen in most clients.
Number one, fear of failure or fear of success. Right?
And these are really sneaky because sometimes you think it's fear of failure, but it's really fear of
success.
What this could look like is for me specifically, because I grew up, I would say poor, not with
money, bullied for being poor.
And then I watched one of my uncles become really successful, make a lot of money, spend all of
his money and then lose his business, lose his home, lose his wife, like literally lose everything and
go back to living in a trailer from his spending habits, right? From his.
His inability to hold success.
And so a lot of people think, well, I'm actually afraid to fail, when in reality they're afraid of success
because I've Never had it before.
I don't know what will happen. What if I lose friends? What if I lose family?
What if I spend all the money?
What if it's taken from me?
What if people think differently of me?
So fear of success sometimes looks like fear of failure, right?
And so what happens is you'll sabotage your growth.
You either won't grow at all or the second you do grow, you'll sabotage it.
So self sabotage was one of my key players in my own shadow work.
And this was something that I've had to and still have to be mindful of and clean up.
But this, a lot of time comes with the desire we have around income, right?
So we're afraid of failure so we don't do anything or we sabotage or we're afraid of success so we
don't do anything or we sabotage.
The second one is the invisible or self doubt or imposter syndrome shadow.
And this can look like hiding.
Hiding in your business, doing the busy work, being behind the scenes, never showing your face,
not talking to people, not putting yourself out there, not doing content that would actually spark
actual visibility and engagement.
Just posting and checkboxing.
Like I did post today and checkbox it, but really ChatGPT wrote it and no one actually cares.
And it's not getting attraction or attention, but really you're hiding.
And this again is going to be a sneaky shadow that comes up and then hold you back from making
impact.
And the third one is the good girl, the over giver or the perfectionist.
You're always giving your energy to everyone else.
This could literally look like friends, it could look like family, it could look like clients, but you're
always over giving or being a perfectionist.
It's never ready, it's never done.
You're always changing things, you're always burning things down and then changing them and
then doing them and changing them, stopping. So starting.
You see a lot of that and that impacts freedom.
Because when you go to create your own freedom, it's going to feel weird to fill up your calendar
with nothing, with empty space, or with things that are only fulfilling to you and don't fulfill other
people.
And so here's what happens.
You have a shadow that maybe you're aware or unaware of and then you have, that's your trigger.
It triggers your reaction.
And what happens is you have the shadow triggers, you, you react and then it just starts the cycle
over and over and over again.
Now you're in business, it's been two years, it's been five years, it's been 10 years.
You have the same goals and you've never hit them.
And you keep getting the same results.
And that's because of how you're operating, how you're making decisions, how you're showing up,
how you're running your business from this cycle.
Okay, so what this looks like is maybe you have a fear of failure or a fear of, of not being good
enough. So what do you do?
You work harder, you hustle harder. What happens? You burn out.
It never feels like it's good enough.
And it starts that cycle over of fear of not being good enough, right?
So when you hustle harder, hustle harder, hustle harder, you burn out.
You're like, nothing I do is ever enough.
So then you feel like you're not enough once again.
And then what do you do because you feel not enough, you start working harder, right?
And it just circles over and over.
Same with being the good girl or the people pleaser. What happens?
You over give yourself, you over give.
Then you have clients that are unaligned and exhaust you.
And now you're burnt out again.
And your offers feel watered down and your work feels watered down because you're afraid that if
you say something and it upsets somebody or somebody doesn't like it, then they won't like you.
And now it's the cycle of trying to make sure that everyone likes you and everyone approves of
you.
Again, the cycle starts over.
Then the third self doubt avoidance, right?
You're, you're literally avoiding being seen, you're avoiding selling.
And then you're always saying, well, I'm just stuck.
I don't know, I'm doing all the things and it's just not working.
And I'm posting and I'm emailing and then when we really get into the nitty gritty, you're not
actually selling.
You're not talking to anybody, you're not selling your offers from conviction or confidence
whatsoever.
You're just showing up and putting up educational posts and hoping someone will see you and buy
from you.
And what happens is you go back into self doubt and then avoidance and then being invisible.
And it starts your cycle over again.
And so if we were to look at all of the shadows you have and all of the ways that you react to those
shadows in your business and all the things you do and don't do in your business, we would clearly
see a picture of your current reality and your current results.
So what happens is when people tell me, you know, I'm really afraid of what people will Say about
me or think about me.
I'm afraid of being canceled.
I'm afraid of being too salesy.
The thing, the, the reality of their business, not making money, not making sales, not being seen,
not making impact, have no freedom.
You have no freedom in your mind, let alone in your business, right?
So when they tell me I'm doing all the things and then we really get into the nitty gritty of how they
actually feel, it always mimics their current business results, right?
So then what we go to is understanding who you are at your core.
Who are you at your core?
Are you resilient?
Are you empathetic, creative, ambitious? Are you a visionary?
Are you a trailblazer?
Are you intuitive, bold, resourceful?
Are you a magnetic storyteller? Are you confident?
Are you a vision holder?
The thing is, is there's so many traits about you that already exist that I call your higher self.
Your higher self already exists.
Your higher knowing, your higher being.
And if you were to really identify what are these pieces of you that you are that make you up who
you actually are, and you come up with a list of three to five of those right now, and you were to
say, I feel like I'm really resilient and I'm creative and I'm ambitious and I'm a visionary, all of the
things required to be an entrepreneur.
And I'm confident and I can hold the vision and I'm determined and I'm bold.
And then I were to say, how often do you show up in your business being creative and bold and
being a trailblazer and being resilient and ambitious when you're going to do sales, when you're
going to do marketing, when you're going to do content, how often are you making decisions for
your business from that place?
Most people tell me I'm not really doing that.
I'm making decisions out of fear, out of hustle, out of being a good girl, out of fear of success, fear
of failure, people pleasing, self sabotage.
I'm making decisions out of self doubt. What will people think? What will my friends think? What
will my family think?
What will my partner think?
I can't do it because I have kids.
I can't do it because whatever excuse you have.
So if we were really to look at the cycle of what you told me you wanted, which was income impact
and freedom versus how you're actually showing up in your life and business versus who you are at
your core.
And if you were to actually operate your business from this space, you would actually have
everything you need to hit the goals you want simply by embodying the version of you that already
exists within you, already exists when you go to make decisions for your business, when you go to
do sales and you go to do marketing and content, creating offers and investing in yourself.
If you were really to tap into the version of you that already exists who's resilient and bold and
confident and driven, you would make much different decisions than the version of you who is in
fear, who is in people pleasing, who is in imposter syndrome, which would drive different results.
Then what we do is we look at your goals.
Let's say you have a goal of 20k months, okay?
And then we're going to do strategy here.
So let's say you have a goal of 20k months and you have a $2,000 offer.
So you need 10 people a month to join your offer.
Or what would that be?
120 people a year to join said offer. Right.
And then we want to go to.
Okay, so how many leads would you actually need to sign?
120 clients with a 2% conversion rate. Well, let's see.
Told you guys, I'm not good at math, so I kind of use my trusty calculator.
I think it's like 5,700, let's say 6,000, 6,000 leads a year, which really then is like what, 500amonth
leads a month.
2% conversion rate equals 120 sales.
Okay, so we need to have two pieces here.
If you want to hit all of your goals in your business, the first thing you have to do is own who you
are, what makes you you, how are you currently showing up, AKA owning your energy.
The second thing you need to do is actually have a strategy.
So you need to have a strategy and then you need to be the person that can actually implement
that said strategy.
And if you have those two pieces, you will hit your goals, guaranteed a plan and becoming the
version of you that executes the plan to have those results. Right?
So whenever I do this work with my clients, right?
And we get to the strategic part, they're like, oh my gosh, 6,000 leads a year seems like a lot of
500 leads a month seems like a lot.
That's much more than I'm currently doing, right?
And now 2% conversion I'm using as like a very low industry standard versus like most of you
should have your own, right? You should know.
How many leads do you have?
How many clients have you signed?
What is your conversion rate so that you can use your Very own conversion rate to say, you know,
this was how many leads my business actually needs because this is how high we convert.
Now everyone's is different and so you haven't created that data. Start with 2%.
It's better to undershoot and over deliver than to like totally miss your goals because you
underestimated.
Okay, but then if we were really to tap into the highest version of you who is a problem solver, who
is ambitious, who's bold, right.
You would probably start thinking of solutions to hit this goal.
The version of me, the higher self version of me that is ambitious and bold and creative and a CEO,
she seemed to be like, okay, those numbers might feel a little scary, but I'm going to go into
planning mode.
What is the easiest way to do this?
How do I get more leads in my business?
What are the strategies I could use?
Brainstorm all of those.
What strategies will I absolutely not use?
Because I know I'm not going to follow through because I don't want to.
Let's get rid of those.
What is one or two strategy I know I could stick to, to actually drive 6,000 leads a year if I don't
know I need to hire someone because that is a major gap in my business.
And if we don't fill the gap of traffic, we're going to have a really big problem. Right.
Because traffic is the number one thing you need to have and then being able to convert that
traffic.
So if I really have my CEO hat on here and I'm problem solving, I'm going to identify what gaps do I
have, what problems do I have, how can I solve these, come up with all the ways to solve them if I
don't know, find someone to help me and invest in my business to solve a major problem that I
have that I know will create the results I want.
This is the biggest pieces that people are missing to creating the goals they want in their business.
Do you have an actual tangible plan?
Do you have the skills and you know what to do?
And if not, are you investing in those skills?
Are you the version of yourself that's actually going to get said results?
And if you have all of those pieces, you are doing those pieces, then it's inevitable that you will
actually hit the goals you want. Right?
But we don't create 20k months and write books and speak on stages and sign hundreds of clients
and have Fridays and Sundays off or no nights or every other week no meetings when we're still
operating.
From what will people think I need to hustle harder.
I feel like an imposter.
I feel invisible.
I'm stuck and I'm doing all the things.

required to hit your results and who do you need to become to create that said plan?
