Hi there, I'm Christy Whitman.
I'm a two time New York Times best selling author and a master certified Law of Attraction coach.
And I'm also the messenger for the Quantum Council of Light as well as the author of my new book
now called the Flow Factor.
And that's what I'm going to be talking about today is the flow factor.
How to master your energy and enter a state of flow.
You know, there are a lot of things in our lives that can take us out of flow.
There's things that are what I call contrast, meaning what we don't want.
It could be someone gives you a dirty look.
It could be somebody posts something rude on, you know, Instagram or Facebook.
It could be you get a flat tire on your way to an important meeting.
It could be that you feel overwhelmed in your life.
It could be that someone you passed, such as an animal or someone you cared about, that you
love, you know, transitioned.
There are infinite varieties of contrast in this human 3D life that we live.
Contrast is inevitable.
It doesn't mean there's something wrong with you or you're not a good creator, that you're doing
something wrong.
Contrast happens to every single person.
It doesn't matter if you are the wealthiest, most success person in the world.
It doesn't matter if you're the kindest, sweetest person in the world.
It doesn't matter if you're both.
We all experience, every single human being experiences this thing called contrast.
But the resistance to the contrast is optional.
What I mean and what I wrote about in the flow factor is that whenever something contrasting
happens, we initially have a survival instinct.
And our survival instincts are no different than a turtle or a bunny or a coyote.
We either fight or we resist.
Not necessarily fight someone, but we're resisting.
Oh no, this is bad.
We're pushing against, we're fighting against it.
Oh no, I don't want to do this. I don't want this. Why me?
And anytime we're in the victim mode, why is this happening to me?
How come I can't seem to get ahead?
No matter what I do, I can't seem to get right.
That's being in that victim mode.
We might get into that persecuting mode where we're like, that's their fault and that's their fault
and why it's my parents fault that I did this.
We might get into that rescuing mode where we're using our fawning, you know, let me fawn on,
let me make everybody else happy.
Let me make sure everybody Else is okay.
But before I am, we might freeze.
I hear this all the time for 25 years as a coach. I'm stuck.
I can't seem to move.
I know what I need to do, but something's holding me back.
That freeze mode, that's a survival mode.
If you don't feel safe moving forward, you're not going to.
And you get into freeze mode or we're in flight mode.
We go faster, bigger, better, more do do run.
It's like running away from yourself.
This is where vices I got to go eat more sugar or I got to have more coffee or I got to drink more
wine or I got to go shopping or gambling or social media or just got to, you know, veg out here and
I got to flee.
I got to, you know, that flight mode, I got to run away from myself where it's almost like I'm
overwhelmed.
So contrast happens.
We get into this survival mode of fight, flight, freeze, or fawn.
And I go into this, into the book.
If you really want to dig deeper into it, however, there's an option that most of us don't have, and
that's flow.
Flow feels good.
Flow is our natural instinct.
Flow is where we are connected to our soul and divine and possibilities and potential.
Flow feels good.
Being in survival mode feels bad.
I like to say that there's three distinct states of being, right? There's the.
Where all of the negative motions or lower level emotions are.
And that's where the survival instincts kick in.
And that's lack.
Whenever we're in fear, doubt, worry, disappointment, sadness, despair, we're in lack.
Now, it's not to judge yourself that you're in lack.
Because the minute you judge yourself, you're still in lack of right.
The minute you go, what's wrong with me?
How come I keep doing this?
I'm such a bad this, or I'm such a bad money manager.
I'm really bad in relationships.
God, I can't seem to lose.
You're in lack.
And the way out of lack is in that second bucket, which is compassion, which is satisfaction.
Because one of the universal laws that I've been talking and teaching on for 25 years is the law of
sufficiency and abundance.
So you got lack on one side, abundance on the other side.
But the middle ground is sufficiency.
It's that place of compassion.
It's that place where you get to soothe yourself, and that's where flow starts to happen.
That gets us out of that survival instinct and that survival mind.
So imagine at the back of your head, where your head and your neck come together.
If you put your finger there, you put your head back, you squish your finger right there in that spot.
Imagine that you're turning that on or you're opening.
That's a release valve back there.
And when you start to let the energy release out the back of your head and neck, you can release
that fight mode.
You can release the stuck mode of the freeze, you can release the flight mode or the fawn mode,
letting all of that energy release out the back of the head and neck.
Letting that release now gives you both on the top and in the third eye.
Now you can bring in a higher awareness, a higher perspective.
You can invite in your soul's light.
So imagine right now that your soul is all around you, five feet above you, five feet below you, five
feet in front, five feet behind.
Feel the. Just imagine that this bubble of support, this bubble of light, the soothing energy.
Just imagine that.
Sense it, feel the comfort of it.
And then give yourself a hug.
Just give yourself a hug.
I know it sound might sound silly.
You might think you're looking silly. Doesn't matter.
Give yourself a hug.
Wrap your arms around you. 90 seconds.
Takes 90 seconds to process an emotion.
Breathe in.
Let yourself feel the comfort of your own hug, of your own touch.
Breathe again.
Tell yourself, it's okay.
You've got this.
Feel your soul light all around you.
Feel the comfort in this. Breathe in.
Breathe out.
Now you're in the second bucket.
Your limbic system has just calmed down.
Your nervous system, calmed down.
Your mind, your emotions, everything's in a much calmer place.
So now you're more in a neutral place.
You may not feel over the top excited.
You may not have changed anything that's outside of you, but you're now in a calmer state.
You're not in despair or over there.
You're in a calm place.
And just stay there.
And if you need to hug yourself again, hug yourself.
You need to feel your soul's light pouring through you and comforting you, telling yourself, I've got
this, I'm okay.
Rub your arm, pat your back.
Let yourself feel that support.
Tell yourself, I am enough.
It's okay. I am enough.
And now, what would you love?
What would you like to experience?
What would you. How would you love this situation that you were once in despair or feeling
frustrated about?
What would you love it to look like?
What would success look like for you in this particular area?
Because as you start thinking about success and the fulfillment and the abundance of and the
freedom that you're going to have.
As your mental body starts imagining what you would love and you start thinking about it and
letting yourself stay over.
In this section, this bucket of abundance, the fulfillment of what you do want, your emotional body
will start kicking in.
You have four bodies.
You have a mental body, emotional body, physical body, energy body.
You've already invited in.
Your soul, your energy body is already vibrating.
And now you, your soul is always there at compassion or higher compassion and love.
You've invited in, whether you call it prayer, intention, invitation, you, you, your focus is now on the
support that you have with that energetic soul body.
You don't longer feel alone.
You're connected.
You have something bigger than yourself guiding the way you've hugged yourself.
You've calmed yourself down.
So your mind is now focusing on what you would love.
Your emotions start to pick up.
Ask yourself, what would I love?
What do I want really?
Why do I want it and how do I want to feel?
And know that the way you want to feel is not dependent on if anything changes.
If you want to feel successful, if you want to feel free, if you want to feel abundance that's available
to you right now.
By thinking about what success would feel like, by thinking about what abundance would feel like,
imagine it, contemplate it, journal about it, feel what you would love and the feeling, more
importantly of what it would feel like.
You know, I like to say that vibrations in the universe are available to us because everything is
energy and all energy carries a vibration.
Those vibrations go out into the universe and then come back to its source.
So we are the ones through law of attraction that are sending out these signals.
Now understand this.
We're not just transmitting energy, we are energy receivers.
We're receiving in energy all the time.
It could be receiving an energy from a thought in our own mind that then brings us into that
survival mode.
But you always can receive in that higher energy, that higher soul.
Perspective, divine perspective.
Feeling like a waterfall of energy, of light is just pouring down through the top of your head and
activating the light inside of your mind, you are an energy receiver.
You are an energy container.
And what you hold in your container is what will then transmit out.
So as you are deliberately bringing in, focusing on I want to feel free, I want to feel love, I want to
feel success.
And you're in tuning to that frequency by imagining, by seeing yourself in that space, by utilizing.
One of the most powerful things that we have is our imagination, is our mind.
By seeing ourselves doing, being, having what we want.
And then Allowing that to come into our energy field by our emotions and feeling as if it's already
happening.
You've already got that thing you're envisioning.
So you're now coming from a place of fulfillment, not a place of lack.
Because whenever we're in lack, we feel bad.
Lack always feels bad.
Abundance always feels good.
Fulfillment of what we want always feels good.
The lack of it, not so much.
So when you're coming into the practicing of fulfilling, you're pre paving, you're drawing to you,
you're attracting to you that as your new reality.
So being in that space of the vibration that you want to experience is how you become a deliberate
creator.
Think of it this way.
A piano, right?
Piano has all sorts of different keys.
Some are low, some to high.
Every single key, that note has a vibration or a tone, a frequency.
Now it doesn't matter if you see a piano.
I have a piano over there, that's why I'm pointing over there.
It doesn't matter if you have a piano and you want to play Bach or Van Halen or Chopsticks or
anything in between you.
We are the choosers, we're the piano players.
The piano has the potential to play anything, just like the this universe that we live in that is made
up of energy and vibration.
The minute we in our free will and choice says abundance, now that pure potential positive energy
morphs, it starts to form into a certain vibration.
Like you're the one playing that key, that vibration key of abundance, because you've, you've
claimed it, you've decided, you've chosen it.
That then starts to move and then you start to tune in with it.
That's the in tunement with that vibration.
And the more you focus on it, the more you visualize and see yourself living it, being it, doing it,
having it, the more you're going to feel good in your now.
Even if you don't have it.
If you start focusing on well I don't have it and when will I get it and how will I get it and all that.
Let all of that stuff go for now.
Let your soul take care of all that.
Because you don't have to worry about the how.
When you get into the oh, I don't know how to do that, you're back in the lack.
But your soul knows how.
The universe knows how to provide.
So allowing yourself to stay in tune with the song you want to sing, you get to choose.
We have free will and choice and that's how we partner with this beautiful energy that Is in this
world is we choose the vibrations that we want to bring in because you're an energy receiver that
we want to hold because you're an energy container and that you want to transmit out.
Now, really quick.

There are five aspects of how you transmit out energy.
There's five aspects of how you create.
There's five aspects in this world of what you can control, what you say, your words.

Words are the spark of creation.
It says in the Bible, in the beginning, there was the word, and the word was with God.
Meaning when you speak a word, especially to speak a positive word, God is good.
Good is God, right?
When you speak a positive word, you create.
But when you speak a negative word, you constrict.
And you do not create what you want.
You create more of what you don't want.

What not to say, why, and what to say instead.

And then I tell you to say the other word or phrase and then see how you feel.
You get to experience this yourself and see how when you shift just one word, how you feel
differently.
And when you feel differently, you feel more expanded instead of constra constricted.
So that's your gift.
And I'll get back to those five things in a minute.
But the words is really important.

Our words are creative.
Our words are like our wand.
As Rebecca Shovel Shin used to say, watch your words.
Next is our thoughts.
It's easier to watch your words than it is your thoughts.
But our words make up our thoughts.
So you have your words, thoughts, perspectives, or beliefs.
Now, what is a belief?
A belief is a thought.
The thought over and over and over again till it becomes evident.
And then we go see it's true and it gets solidified.
So what happens is, starts with the words.
It goes into thoughts.
Thoughts get thought over and over again it becomes an image in a picture in our mind and then
becomes a solidified belief.
Well, who's who controls all that we do?
This is all mental words, thoughts, beliefs.
The fourth is our emotions. Now here's the thing.
Our mental body and our emotional body are interconnected.
So when you have your words shifting, your thoughts shift, so do your beliefs and so do does how
you feel.
So words, thoughts, beliefs, emotions and actions.
These four words, thoughts, belief and emotions all lead to the actions which lead to the outer
results that we experience.
But these five things are within us.
Can't control what other people say or do.
We can't control what other people feel or think.
We can't control what other people believe or perceive.
But we have a choice.
We have free will.
We can choose that for ourselves.
So choose wisely.
And start by watching your words.
So, so many things I shared today.
There's lots of different actions that you can take.
Among all of them.
Give yourself a hug.
Give yourself a hug and tell yourself, I am enough.
I am enough.
Breathe that in.
Feel it in your belly.
I am enough.
That'll bring you out of lack, into neutrality.
So that you can instead use your powerful focus and power and attention moving in the direction of
what you do want instead of what you don't want.
